Skeffa Chimoto Releases Two Songs Ahead of his Sixth Album Launch “Masomphenya”

Malawi’s renowned Musician Skeffa Chimoto has released two singles for free download ahead of the launch of his sixth studio album named “Masomphenya” slated on 5th October at BICC Auditorium.

Skeffa has been working on “Masomphenya” album for five years and yesterday, 18th September released two singles off the album titled “Ndimazisowa” and “Mundikonda” through malawi music dot com.

According to Levi Msekambewa who is managing the album launch as event coordinator, the message in the album is all about love, gospel and the respect for parents.

“His usual message is on love, gospel and the respect for parents,” Msakambewa reveals.

Msakambewa says he is confident enough that this new album will be well received and will surpass Skeffa’s previous album.

“This album is a masterpiece and will overtake ‘Chikondi’ with platinum sales, “said Msakambewa while disclosing that Lulu, Shad Kalukusha and Skeffa himself as those behind the album’s production.

He adds that preparations for the launch at BICC are currently going on well.

“So far so good with the preparations. We have managed to get partners like Zodiak Broadcasting Station, ITS Enterprise, NITEL through Web Tickets and we are in talks with FPAM too. Next will be Blantyre and then the launch tour will be targeting Zomba, Mzuzu and other districts.”

The artist released his last album in 2013 which contained hits like “Chinamuluma Chakuda”, “Dalitsani Okondedwa” and others.
