The distribution of coupons for the 2018-2019 farm input subsidy program starts tomorrow, faceofmalawi can reveal
Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development confirmed of the development in a statement made available to the press.
According to Grey Nyandule Phiri, the launch will take place at Mtaya Community ground in Balaka.
In a statement, Principal Secretary for the ministry, Grey Nyandule Phiri, said government is committed to ensure that beneficiaries access quality seeds and fertilizer on time.
Nyandule Phiri said government is ready to work with security agents to deter unscrupulous people from selling the farm inputs.
He also disclosed that the ministry has devised a toll free line through which Malawians can be reporting any forms of abuse involving this year’s subsidized farm input program.
