MSCE exams update: No student with 6 points

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that no student has scored six points in the just released 2018 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination released by Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB).

The story is different from last year where over 50 students from well-known schools such as Maranantha Academy and others scored 6 points.

The information further indicates that only one student has scored 7 points.

MANEB Chief Executive Director Gerard Chiunda confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Turning examination leakages, Chiunda said that 3 papers were leaked before time and 29 people were arrested.

He says the examinations were expertly marked such that the data they have does not have any impact of the leaked papers.

More details to come…..
