UTM’s elective convention slated for December 8

The newly registered political party, United Transformation Movement (UTM) is scheduled to hold its much awaited convention on December 8 2018, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Initial, the party was scheduled to hold its convention on November 9 2018 but the convention was postponed due to a court case.
UTM President Dr. Saulos Chilima last week confirmed of the convention during a rally in Dedza, saying more details will be communicated later.
On his part, UTM spokesperson Joseph Chidant Malunga said the party will issue a statement on the matter.
Chilima is expected to go unopposed at the convention.
