Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe’s burial Sunday

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that burial of Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe will take place on Sunday December 2, 2018 at his Bolero headquarters in Rumphi.

Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development Muhlabase Mughogho confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi reporter.

Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe, who was born Walter John Hardy Gondwe, died around 9:00pm on 29th November 2018 at Mzuzu Central Hospital.

The Ministry says reports from the hospital indicate that the Chief succumbed to low blood pressure.

Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe was born on 24th March 1932 and was installed as Traditional Authority in 1978.

He is survived by a wife, 5 children and 12 grandchildren.
