Three Primary School Girls Left Paralysed after Touching Fellow Student’s Bag at Mvera Girls

Three girls at Mvera primary school have been left paralyzed both hands and legs after touching a bag belonging to a fellow school mate who is believed to be a satanist.

Th victims have been identified as 12-year-old Ulemu Makoka, 12-year-old Maranatha Nkhonya and 11-year-old Chisomo Kalima.

The matron at the school, Miss Madalitso Kaliati reported to Mvera police station that for the past months, the girls at the hostel have been complaining that they were being haunted by some magic during night times and that some were feeling body pains.

The matron told the police that the girls were suspecting a fellow student identified as Mwaiwawo Patrick, aged 15 for the reasons that she had always been sleeping with a red piece of cloth and had always been sleeping in unusual position.

On Saturday around 08:30hrs, one of the victims, Ulemu Makoka told the matron that the suspect was keeping a phone in her bag which is not allowed at the school.

The matron asked the suspect about the phone but she denied being in possession of it.

Later, Ulemu went ahead and picked the suspect’s bag and withdrew the phone but right after doing that, her two hands bent and paralyzed along with her two legs.

The situation became worse and the matter was reported to police who came to the scene and certified the incident.

The suspect was taken to police along with other teachers and got interviewed by officers.

She denied being the cause of the other girls’ conditions but only admitted that she had been sleeping with a red cloth and that the phone was hers.

She has since been given bail as police are still continuing with an investigation.

The other victims, Maranatha and Chisomo got paralyzed despite not touching the suspect’s bag.

Meanwhile, reports say the victims’ conditions have improved as they are now walking normally but only complaining of body pains.
