Jessie Kabwila joins UTM after dumping MCP

Member of Parliament for Salima North West Jessie Kabwila has dumped the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and joined the newly registered United Transformation Movement (UTM) Party.
Kabwila announced this today in her constituency where she is holding a consultative meeting with her constituents on her next move following the loss in MCP primary elections.
Two weeks ago Kabwila lost MCP Primaries to Enock Phale and she described the primaries as illegal.
