A 10 year old boy is reported dead after being attacked by crocodile in Nkhotakota today.
Deputy Publicist for Nkhotakota Police, Paul Malimwe confirmed of the development in an interview with faceofmalawi reporter and identified the deceased as as Siyireni Phiri.
According to Malimwe, the victim met his fate when he went to swim at Ling’ona River at Kawerama village in the district.
Meanwhile, the police in the district have called upon all parents and guardians to closely supervise their children during this rainy season to avoid such cases.
