Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) councilor for Chigumula ward Wild Ndipo has promised people for the ward that he will continue with development projects in the area if elected as councilor come 21 May 2019.
Ndipo who is also the mayor for the city of Blantyre said there is nothing that will change because he has been working hand in hand with the people for the ward and they understand each other.
“We have constructed bridges, two under five clinics,. Connecting and constructing tarred roads which makes it easier for the people in the ward to get health services easier which is a plus ,” he said.
Ndipo said all this has been possible because people of the ward have trust in him as well as unity among them.
He added that there is ownership for the development projects that are being implemented in the area a development that makes people to make contributions whenever there is need.
The Chigumula ward councilor has since said that he will continue working with the DPP because it is a well-established party with well-established structures on the ground.
“The DPP is a listening party and government under the leadership of the party has been assisting me all along and there is nothing that can make me change because l am a DPP Fan,” he said.
