Parents Beat Son to Death

A 16 year old boy of Kabompo District in neighbouring Zambia has died a few days after he was severely beaten by his parents for yet to be disclosed reasons.

Police have arrested the parents to the deceased who have been identified as Brian Sakuwaha and Sara Kangwanda to help with investigations.

North Western Province Commissioner of Police Hudson Namachila confirmed the development saying the 16 year old died after being beaten with a stick by his parents.

Namachila said the deceased sustained abdominal and ribcage pains and was rushed to Loloma Mission Hospital in Manyinga where he died after four days.

He said that the victim has since been put to rest while suspects are still in police custody to help with investigations.
