Three people arrested in connection with the gruesome murder of an albino man in Nkhata-bay

Police have arrested three men in connection with the brutal killing of a 54-year-old man with albinism in Nkhata Bay recently.

The three name; Fransis Chipateni Kaluwa, 37, Ceaser Banda, 31, and Lawrence Theu, 32 are suspected to have murdered 54-year-old Yasin Phiri at his home in Nkhata-Bay on New Year’s Eve.

They all come from Nkhata Bay.

The fourth suspect, only identified as Kweni, and is believed to be in possession of the chopped arms of the deceased, is still at large.

Meanwhile Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and other opposition political parties have accused the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) of failing Malawians on the matter.
