The Adventist and Relief Agency (ADRA) Malawi has hailed Dr. Michael Usi for his appointment as runningmate of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) Party under Dr. Saulos Chilima.
Chilima who is also State Vice President unveiled Usi, popularly known as Manganya in the comedy circles on Wednesday at Comesa Hall when he was presenting nomination papers to the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).
In a statement released on Wednesday ADRA through its Acting Country Director wished Usi good lucky as he discharge his duties on the new post.
“Congratulations Dr Michael B Usi ( former ADRA Malawi Programs Director )for being appointed the official presidential running mate of United Transformation Party in the forthcoming Malawi Tripartite elections 2019. God be with you,” reads in part the statement.
Usi once served as Country Director for ADRA.
