Independent President Florence Fulayi’s nomination papers rejected by MEC

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has refused to accept nomination papers from an Independent Presidential Candidate Florence Fulayi for failing to pay MEC nomination fees pegged at MK2 million, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Fulayi is the second candidate to be rejected by MEC. The first candidate to be rejected was Ras Chikomeni David Chirwa.

MEC Chairperson Jane Ansah has asked Fulayi to fulfill most of the requirements such as nomination fee.
