Mr. Swira Fails to present requirements of MEC nomination Process

MEC through it’s chairperson has rejected the submission of nomination papers for Independent Candidate Mr. Smart Swira due to his failure to pay the nomination fee, failure to produce proof of Nationality and voter registration as well as not having a running mate.
MEC says Mr. Swira can submit his papers today if he meets the requirements of the nomination process. He has also failed to present 10 signatures from a minimum of 19 districts also a requirement.
