Opposition Umodzi Party (UP) is set to launch its manifesto on March 2, 2019 at Robins Park in the commercial capital Blantyre, faceofmalawi can reveal.
UP Director of Publicity Sadana Tamanda Bakili disclosed this at a media briefing held at the party’s headquarters in Blantyre.
She said it is the wish of the party’s president Professor John Chisi for the country to know what the party has to offer to Malawians if voted into power come May 2019.
“This is the very best manifesto ever to be launched in this country and we are the first party to launch manifesto this shows that we have structures across the country and our party is well established,” she said.
Bakili said that they have lined up a number of activities and they have invited delegates from all districts in the country.
She said everyone is invited to see for him or herself the activities that will happen on that day
