Late Father Gabriel Jana will be laid to rest this coming Friday at Likuni Parish in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Father Jana passed on on today, 20th March 2019 at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre after a long illness.

According to a funeral programme seen by faceofmalawi, the body of Father Jana left College of Medicine to Likuni Mortuary in Lilongwe this afternoon.

“The body will be taken from Blantyre College of Medicine today at 1330hrs straight to Likuni Mortuary.

“Tomorrow the body will be taken to Mtima Woyera and it will be there up to Friday morning, 8:30am. There will be a procession from there to Likuni Parish church. Burial Ceremony will begin from 10:00am with the Holy Mass,” reads in part the statement.

Until his death Father Jana was Director of Radio Alinafe in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe.
