Chimulirenji Storms North; Campaigns for DPP

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) running mate Everton Chimulirenji has expressed confident in his Northern Region campaign tour saying the victory belongs to the ruling DPP.

Chimulirenji, who visited at least 5 district in the region said the Northerners have agreed to re-elect President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and DPP into power.

“The north is now geared to vote for DPP,” Chimulirenji said.

Chimulirenji who is the DPP campaign director said his tour to the north has been fruitful.

He further added that he has done an effective job in campaigning for his party.

“I have mounted an effective campaign and victory is ours,” he said.

In his speeches during the campaign tour Chimulirenji urged people of north to re-elect Mutharika saying he has delivered what he promised.

“Professor Mutharika has delivered and he deserve to be re-elected,” he said.

While in the north Chimulirenji visited Mzimba, Rumphi, Karonga, Nkhata Bay, Chitipa and he ended his campaign tour in Likoma Island. ZJ37/j�ۃ�m
