Dausi Dismisses Chakwera’s K1 Trillion Claims

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) spokesperson Nicholas Dausi has refuted claims made by Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Lazarus Chakwera that DPP has rooted K1 trillion in the five years it has be in power.

Chakwera has been labelling DPP as a party of thieves who are moving the country backward in all of his campaign rallies.

Chakwera said what DPP has succeeded in the past five years is to self-enrichment and failing on service delivery.

Answering on Chakwera’s claims Dausi said the claims are unsubstantiated.

“Chakwera is simply making mere political tantrums in hope of winning elections,” Dausi said.

MCP secretary general Eisenhower Mkaka backed up his boss saying the claims are true as there has been abuse of millions of kwacha in government companies in the past five years of DPP in power. �oL���
