Farmers in Kasungu Asked to Embrace Agricultural Technologies

Farmers in Kasungu have been asked to embrace agricultural technologies if they are to have an enhanced food, nutrition and income security.

Controller of Agricultural Services Alexander Bulirani made the remarks during a Field Day at Lisasadzi Extension Planning Area in the district an event organized by Kasungu Agriculture Development Division (KADD).

Bulirani further said that they have developed a lot of agricultural technologies that farmers should adopt.

“The Ministry of Agriculture, irrigation and Water Development together with its partners have developed  a lot of technologies and it is their expectation that farmers adopt them,” Bulirani Said.

Bulirani emphasized on the need of farmers to take agriculture as business saying that could be possible if they increased production through adoption of modern technologies.
