Malawi Government has launched Farm Input Distribution program for families who have been hit by floods in the country.
Following the devastated cyclone idai which resulted into floods about a month ago destroyed crops especially maize, posing a threat to agricultural sector.
According to the minister of agriculture, the program will target all the 100, 000 that were affected and displaced by the floods.
The program was launched at Thabwa Evacuation camp in Chikwawa.
Chikwawa and Nsanje were registered to be the most affected areas with the heavy floods.
