Mutharika Calls People to Vote for Development

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, has called on people in Mchinji to choose development over politics.

The President was speaking at Kapiri and Mikundi trading centers in Mchinji when he conducted whistle stop tours in the district.

Mutharika said if given a fresh mandate, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) will continue with development projects such as the Malata and Cement Subsidy Program.

Mutharika further warned people of the area not to be deceived by opposition whom according to him do not have welfare of people at heart.

Mutharika asked people of Mchinji not to entertain politics but rather they should opt for developments.

In his remarks Mutharika said it is only the governing DPP that can develop the country.
