President Peter Mutharika is tomorrow expected to unveil the statue of the former president the late Bingu wa Mutharika.
The statue has been erected at the Parliament Building in Lilongwe.
A statement from the Chief Secretary to the Government Lloyd Muhara says memorial service will follow soon after the unveiling ceremony.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the construction work of the statue has coasted government about MK120 million.
Bingu wa Mutharika died of Cardiac arrest in 2012 while serving as President of the Republic of Malawi.
His death led to the ascension of Joyce Banda of Peoples Party (PP) to the high Office.
