Umodzi Party to hold a press briefing on Wednesday

Umodzi Party (UP) is expected to hold a press conference Wednesday at Serendeit Hotels formerly known as Shire Highlands Hotel to discuss with members of the press on a number of issues as the party prepares for May tripartite elections.

Arnold Khondiwa Administrative Officer for the party refused to shade more light on the main purpose of the press conference saying this could pre empty what the party has prepared for the conference.

But he said people should expect surprise and a lot of exciting things, the press briefing is expected to start from 2pm in the afternoon.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the party will unveil independent Shadow Members of Parliament who have joined the party ahead of the forthcoming May 21 polls.
