DPP cadets assault MCP supporters in Nsanje

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that two Malawi Congress Party (MCP) supporters were on Wednesday night stoned by unknown people believed to be Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) supporters at Kachere Stage.

The victims identified as Ganizani Malekeza” and a woman who is yet to be identified met their fate at around 6pm when they were coming back from GVH Mtondo Where MCP Vice President Sidik Mia was conducting a rally.

The victims were referred to Nyamithuthu Healthy Centre to receive treatment.

In a related development MCP shadow Councillor Honely Sande Kutchenganinji and his Son were also beaten with sticks when they were travelling on a motorcycle by unknown people.

Ganizani Malekeza held from Chikunkhu village GVH Tengani, TA Tengani Nsanje.

No arrest has been made so far.
