Chilima says UTM the only Hope for Malawi

United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dr. Saulos Chilima has maintained his position that UTM will win the forthcoming May 21 elections.

Chilima made the remarks in Zomba at Mponda Freedom Park Ground during a campaign political rally.

In his remarks Chilima said UTM is the only party that has shown to be more powerful than other parties since its existence in the country.

“UTM has achieved what other parties could not achieve in the 10 months of its existence,” Chilima said.

He added that UTM has been welcomed by Malawians whom he said are impressed with the vision UTM has.

“We have travelled all corners in the country and the response has been that UTM has impressed them with our vision for the country,” he said.

He then added that Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) will be booted out of government just like Peoples Party (PP) because of corruption.

“DPP will lose like PP in the forthcoming elections because of corruption,” he said.

He then pleaded with the huge crowd that gathered at Mponda Freedom Park to think of the future of their children before casting their vote.

“When we go in the polling booth on May 21 before voting, we should think of our children and those at home,” he pleaded.

Chilima further asked the people to vote for UTM citing that it is the only party that will make Malawians happy.

“Then we should vote for UTM because this is the party that will Make Malawi a happy nation for everyone,” he said.

He concluded saying that presidency is for everyone and that the current president should leave the presidency in his hands.
