Flashback: Chilima and Chakwera during HRDC demonstrations

Peaceful protests organized by Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) national wide have brought together leader of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dr. Saulos Chilima.

The two leaders were captured together in the ongoing protests in the capital Lilongwe where Malawians are against the outcome of the May 21 tripartite election.

Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC) are today holding a peaceful protest national wide against the outcome of the May 21 tripartite election which saw President Peter Mutharika being declared winner.

Malawians want Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Jane Ansah to immediately resigns for administering the most fraudulent May 21 tripartite election in the history of Malawi.
