Dedza Albino murder case ruling set for July 9

The High Court is, on July 9 expected to deliver a ruling on whether five people answering charges related to the abduction of Goodson Makanjira, have a case to answer or not.

The five suspects, Kumbilani Patson, Sainani Kalekeni, Lucas Kagomo, Katiyo Mizeck and Wisikesi Gana on Tuesday appeared before judge Chifundo Kachale at the High Court in Lilongwe.

Initially, there were six suspect, but one of them, Buleya Lule died in police custody

The state paraded the 9th and last witness, Lawrent Robson. The defence and the state are expected to submit written submissions by 19 June, before the ruling on July 9 in Dedza.
