The Immigration Department will soon revise passport fees, officials have confirmed to local press.
This comes after all government departments that collect revenue were ordered to review fees and submit for consideration in the 2019/20 national budget.
Following the development, the Immigration Department has revised upward its fees and submitted the revisions to the treasury for consideration.
According to Immigration document seen, an ordinary passport which is produced within 21 days will cost K80,000 from K48,500.
