Ntcheu Youth Donate to District Hospital

Date:

Youth in Ntcheu under the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Ntcheu District Youth Network have donated food and nonfood items to Ntcheu District Hospital.

Speaking in an interview, the chairperson for the network, Joseph Mapuma said youth in the country have a responsibility to do in developing the country, rather than indulging themselves in immoral behaviors.

“Youths are agent of change not perpetrators of violence as people see us. The donation will send a strong message to all who think contrary about us,” Mapuma said.

He said the donated items were a contribution from all members that subscribe to the district youth network.

A representative of Ntcheu District Health Officer, Joseph Banda said the donation was timely.

Banda then called upon the general public to embrace the gesture demonstrated by the youths in the district.

Ntcheu Youth Network has a membership of 18 youth networks from nine traditional authorities in the district.
