A former South African footballer player Mark Batchelor has been shot dead on Monday just outside his house in Olivedale.
South Africa Police Service has confirmed with local media saying the ex-footballer was shot by two men riding motorbikes as he was driving into his home.
Pictures from the scene showed that multiple shots were fired through the car window and he died at the very same scene.
The motive for the attack is unknown at this stage. Police say they have established an investigation into the matter.
