Alleluya Band says ‘Thank you’ to Malawians Based in Italy

Malawi’s oldest gospel group, Alleluya Band has expressed satisfactory with the kind of gesture Malawians based in Italy have shown to them.

The gratitude remarks have been said by the Band’s senior member, Coss Chiwalo.

Chiwalo said they were pleased that, for the first time since they started making the trips to Italy, Malawians were patronizing their shows in large numbers.

“We have been in Italy for some years, it is a different case as Malawians based here are coming in large numbers to patronize our shows,” Chiwalo said

Chiwalo further added that Malawians who are based there are making them to feel at home.

“Last Saturday we were also treated to dinner where our fellow Malawians prepared local dishes. We really felt at home as this has never happened before,” he complimented.

He said they had, so far, held 12 shows and were expected to have 46 shows in total.
