Paramount Chief Ngolongoliwa’s burial today

All is set for the burial of the body of the late Lhomwe Paramount Chief Ngolongoliwa at his Ntundawosema headquarters in Thyolo district today.

Chief Ngolongoliwa died of cancer on Sunday at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre.

The Paramount Chief will be accorded a full military honor as directed by President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika who is also expected to attend the burial ceremony.

Born as Laelo Costa Juma on 18th February 1950, Ngolongoliwa was elevated from the position of Senior Chief to Paramount Chief Ngolongoliwa on 9th March 2017.
