Pastor Salanje to contest as President in 2029

Pastor Hastings Salanje who is currently based in South Africa has expressed interest to contest as President of the country in 2029
.
Salanje disclosed this in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by faceofmalawi reporter.

“2029 ZITHU ZIZASITHA!!!” wrote Salanje.

Currently Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Saulos Chilima are challenging the outcome of the May 21 polls.

Salanje came to light in 2016 when he challenged Malawian Pastors of negligence over the passing on of well-known gospel star Grace Chinga.
