DPP Disowns Own Child

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has disowned Paul Chiwawa Kawoza who was answering a number of charges in Nkhatabay as a member of the party.
Kawoza was dragged to court for committing crimes such as impersonating a police officer found in possession with a fire arm, abducting and intimidating people in the district.
Kawoza stunned the court when he applied for a bail on the grounds that he is a DPP official and businessman.
When asked to comment immediately after the case was adjourned DPP spokesperson Nicholas Dausi disowned Kawoza as a member of the party.
The magistrate court in the district has therefore denied bail to Kawoza.
