Unknown people have petrol-bombed a house belonging to Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) chairperson Timothy Mtambo in his village in Chitipa around 2 A.M. today.
Mtambo confirmed the develop through a Facebook post.
“I have just received a report about a petrol bombing incident at our premises in my village, it was around 2 A.M.,” wrote Mtambo.
Emotional Mtambo wondered why those committed the crime are that cold hearted.
“Why are you so heartless? why are you so evil? what kind of people are you?For hw long will Malawi continue watching you with your evil acts?” asked Mtambo.
Just few weeks ago his house in Lilongwe was also petrol bombed by suspected Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) cadets.
Mtambo is the chairperson of HRDC a grouping that has been organizing Anti-Ansah demonstrations.
