The Higher Education Students’ Loans and Grants Board has revealed that the projected K9 billion is still not enough to carter for the huge number of needy students.

This has been said by  the board’s Executive Director, Chris Chisoni.

In his remarks Chisoni indicated that the board was hoping for something around K12.5 billion.

This, according to Chisoni would aid at least 21,000 students as the proposed amount would only accommodate about 17,000 beneficiaries.
