Wild Ndipo, Mayor of Blantyre City has been re-elected as president of Malawi Local government Association (MALGA).
Ndipo won with 18 votes against his competitor, her worship Juliana Kaduya Mayor of Lilongwe City, who came second with 17 votes.
The elections took place during the MALGA General Conference at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.
Ndipo who has been on the position for the last two and half years, from 2017 to March 2019, is expected to be the president of MALGA for the next two and half years.
