WOMAN ARRESTED FOR RAPING 16 YEAR BOY

Police in Dowa have arrested a 32 year old woman for allegedly having sexual activity with a 16-year-old boy.

The suspect has been identified as Eneles Kaunda a mother from Mndekwa Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chiwere in Dowa District.

The report signed by Sub inspector Gladson M’Bumpha- Public relations officer for Dowa police Station indicate that on the day of the incident, the suspect asked the victim  who stay in the same village to accompany her to the garden to help her check if there were thieves who usually steal from the garden.

“On the way to the garden, the suspect gave the victim some crystal –like substance and told him to take with water and after some few minutes later the suspect told the victim that the drug was for sexual activity and forced herself on her and people at the nearby garden watched the whole and reported the matter to victims mother who later reported the matter to police reads part of the report,”.

According to the report, the suspect denied the allegation but the victim revealed the whole ordeal. The suspected drugs which were recovered at the grocery were identified by the victim and the grocery owner escaped.

Meanwhile, the drug substance will be sent for analysis and identification.

The suspect will appear before court soon to answer a charges of rape.
