Few minutes after Anti-Ansah Protesters took to the streets, Malawi Police Services (MPS) invaded starting firing teargas to the protesters.

The police wanted to disperse the large crowd that has gathered in Lilongwe to take part in the Anti-Ansah March.

Meanwhile, he protesters have taken back to the streets under the escort of Malawi Defense Force (MDF) Soldiers.

HRDC has been organizing demonstrations calling for Malawi Electoral Commission chairperson Jane Ansah to step down for allegedly mismanaging May 21 elections.
