Leston Mulli Refuses Pocketing K17 Billion from Govt

Controversial Businessman Leston Mulli has quashed rumors that he has taken a loan worth K17 billion from government through the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM).

Mulli laughed off the rumor today during a press briefing in Blantyre.

According to Mulli he has never borrowed from government.

Ironically, Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) without mentioning a name, announced that they will soon reveal a name of of the person who has allegedly been given the said amount of money.

HRDC added that the beneficiary has been given 83 years to pay it back.
