Communities around Chamawoya, who share boundary with Kawalazi Estate in Nkhata Bay district, have threatened to spill blood over land which they claim belongs to their ancestors.
According to the communities, the company used heavy machinery to clear hectares of the banana and cassava crops.
Besides that the company is also said to have demolished makeshift school block to reclaim company land.
In his response Kawalazi Estate General Manager Gurtej Singn Nain, denied the allegations saying the communities intruded on leased company land.
Nain also denied the allegation that his company destroyed the said property.
