A Nigerian man identified as Ifeanyi Ibeawuchi is on the run after he allegedly killed his 22 year old cousin Ifeanyi Ogu over a missing a laptop.
The elder brother of the deceased, Uchechukwu Ogu, told correspondents that Ibeawuchi had on Sunday accused his younger brother of knowing something about his missing laptop.
He said the victim denied the allegation, but the suspect, who is on the run, took him away in company with three other young men who claimed to be policemen.
The elder brother said the next news he heard after three days was that Ifeanyi had been murdered.
He added that after a search, he found his brother’s corpse at Umuguma General Hospital mortuary on Tuesday.
The killing of the 22-year -old made youths of the community to take laws into their own hands by setting ablaze the suspect’s family house.
