Ex-Girlfriend of Inkosi Gomani V blocks Royal wedding: ‘Willard and I are still married’

Ex girlfriend of inkosi ya makosi Gomani V, Ovie Bunya has penned Mlanda Church of Central of African Presbytery (CCAP) protesting the officiation of the Royal Wedding scheduled for this coming Sartuday in Ntcheu.

Inkosi Goman V is scheduled to tie a knot with South African lady Rishaladza Mathebula tomorrow Saturday and the reception will take place in Lizulu.

According to the letter seen by Faceofmalawi reporter, Ovie wants the church to call-off the wedding on the basis that Gomani and her are still married and she is keeping his baby boy.

“The basis of my objection is that Willard and I are still married and that divorce proceedings which are currently before Magistrate’s Court and I have Child together named Mswati Gomani born on February 14, 2019,” reads in part the letter addressed to the Church.

The CCAP church is yet to respond on the matter.

Meanwhile President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and former Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima are expected to attend the wedding ceremony.
