Three prisoners escape from Zomba Prison

Three male inmates have reportedly escaped custody from Zomba Central Prison in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The development comes barely three months after other two inmates escaped from the same prison.
According to Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS), the three inmates have escaped around 1 A.M. from A Block through a hole that they dug on the wall of the cell.
Effort to talk to Malawi Prison Service National Spokesperson Chimwemwe Shaba proved futile.
