A sad and tragic story has occurred during a fight between two warring villages in Traditional Authority Chitukula’s area in Lilongwe, allegedly over a land wrangle.
According to a source, it is said that one man was chopped to death during the fight and others are seriously wounded
Reports indicates that, villagers from Chiponde earlier sent a notification that they would launch an assault on Kamchira Village, which they did.
Sub-Inspector Esther Mkwanda of Kanengo Public Relations Officer says 36-year-old Adam Mtengambiri, who was hacked to death during the fight, authored the letter.
