Kazombo Accuses Govt of Failing Retired Soldiers, Govt Crashes Allegations

Deputy speaker of Parliament Madalitso Kazombo has accused government of failing to take care of retired soldiers.

Kazombo made the accusation at the event marking commemorations of poppy day which the world remembers soldiers who died in the world wars

.According to Kazombo, the situation is worrisome where the retired heroes are nor recognized by the government.

However, Minister of information Mark Botomani has described Kazombo’s remarks as an opinion he is entitled to have.

He however said government through the Malawi Defense Force is implementing initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the service men.
