Authorities responding to a 911 call Saturday morning made the gruesome discovery on a highway stretch in Santa Teresa, a municipality in the state of Guanajuato.

Members of Mexico’s most powerful cartel dumped four bodies in 10 garbage bags as a threat to a local official they say is corrupt.

The New Jalisco Generation Cartel (CJNG) placed at least three poster boards with warning messages

The cartel threatened Samuel Ugalde Garcia, the head of the Guanajuato Public Safety Ministry, linked him to other criminals in the area and blamed him for the group’s actions.

‘This is the result of your incompetence, for agreeing with people who extort and kidnap, with the plague that does not respect the population that you should take care of,’ the Spanish-written narco-message read, which was signed off by the CJNG’s elite force.

‘Money comes out of your bag and here we hand them over to you in parts’.’

The New Jalisco Generation Cartel identified one of the victims that it murdered as Martín ‘El Chon’ González in one of the poster board cards that were placed over the bags at the highway intersection.

A section of the cardboard indicated that ‘this would happened to all of the dummies that continue to think’ that they could kidnap and blackmail other people. reached out to the Guanajuato State Attorney’s office for comment.

According to the Drug Enforcement Agency, the criminal organization which is led by Nemesio ‘El Mencho’ Oseguera Cervantes, has shipped hundreds of kilos of methamphetamines from Guadalajara, Mexico, to Los Angeles and San Jose, California.

El Mencho is a former ally of Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman and is the most-wanted man in Mexico and one of the most-sought after by the United States Department of Justice, who is offering a $10 million bounty after the agency initially offered $5 million.

Under El Mencho, the New Jalisco Generation Cartel has increased its presence in 25 of 32 states since 2015 when it only had a stronghold in 11 states.
