Man stabs woman because ‘they were trying to feed him to zombies’

The Walking Dead apparently had a South Carolina man in their grip.

Cops say William Berry, 29, stabbed Rosemary Pressley in the back several times because he believed her sinister plot was to feed him to zombies.

Aiken County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a stabbing Saturday and said a witness at the alleged crime scene told them that Berry had attacked Pressley with a knife.

After cops arrested him, Berry told investigators that he stabbed the woman because: “They were trying to feed him to zombies — and being mean to him.”

Everyone is aware that zombies can, in fact, be very mean.

Countless episodes of AMC’s zombie apocalypse epic The Walking Dead will attest to that.

Pressley was taken to the hospital and treated for multiple stab wounds.

Zombies are the fictional undead who come to “life” following the reanimation of a corpse.

The 1968 horror thriller Night of the Living Dead has made them popular fixtures in comics, movies and Halloween ever since.

Berry is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
