Heavy Rains Claims Life in Phalombe

At least one person has died in Phalombe due to heavy rains that poured yesterday in the district yesterday.

Housing Officer fro the district Frackson Chidzati confirmed the development.

According to Chidzati a lot of  families have been left homeless in the area of Traditional Authority Kaledzera and Group Village Head Nampinga in the district.

Chidzati said the council is doing an assessment on the number of households affected by the rains in order to start distributing relied items.
