Hwange man identified as Chipuriro has been scalded with hot water after he asked for sexual advances from his future mother in law.
Mavis Ngwenya who is the mother to Tinashe Chipuriro’s girlfriend was not amused when Chipuriro propositioned her for sex.
A seemingly libidinous Chipuriro acting in Mukwasha Mboko style shocked his mother in law when he informed her that if he could not have sex with his girlfriend who was not present, he was also willing to have it with her.
Irked with the uncouth proposal, Ngwenya threw a cup of boiling water on Chipuriro as punishment for his disrespectful behavior. However, this did no go down with Chipuriro. Feeling aggrieved with the way he had been treated, Chipuriro filed a police report leading to the arrest of Ngwenya.
New Ziana reports that when Ngwenya appeared in court facing assault charges, she told Hwange provincial magistrate Gift Ntando Dube, she readily pleaded guilty to the charges. In mitigation, Ngwenya told the court that she had reacted in hot blood after severe provocation.
“I was provoked for a long time as complainant said he wanted to sleep with me or my daughter. He showed that he did not respect that I’m the mother to his girlfriend. The only tool available that I could find in my quest to teach him a lesson was the boiling water,”
Ngwenya was sentenced to perform 105 hours of community service.
